When a local restaurant needed better airflow on their patio, but without a complete redesign, we were brought in to help. Their wooden hatch-style vent covers were meant to open for ventilation, but lacked any built-in way to hold them safely open or ensure consistent operation across all units.
We engineered a custom brace system using modified stainless steel quick-release hardware and hand-built support rods that secure each hatch cleanly and safely. Beyond the mechanical fix, we also corrected spacing inconsistencies from the original build, adjusted mounting points, and concealed ground surfaces for a clean final look. All of it was done affordably and in a way that can be repeated at scale across other locations.

Every job has a few surprises. Here, we adjusted on the fly, matched five non-uniform hatches, and delivered a clean, functional solution without blowing the budget.
This project is a great example of how Lynnmar Services approaches custom work: smart, efficient, and grounded in real-world needs. Instead of recommending expensive prefabricated solutions or major construction, we crafted a targeted fix that added both form and function to the space. With safety improved and aesthetics respected, this patio is now a more usable, guest-friendly area, just how it should be.
We’re not just here to get things done, we’re here to get them done right, and in a way that makes business sense.
